Spring has Sprung

It’s that time of year when we have the spring solstice. A tradition I started a long time ago was to read the story of Jumping Mouse. It was told to me by an Ojibwa teacher who said it had all the lessons of spring. It’s a reminder that we can start again and some of the challenges and pit falls that can come along the way. There's a song of reverence in the quiet.An alter to pray upon in internal silence.A naked soul bearing fruits of truthwhispering into the ear of husks.Whether passed aloud or kept containedeach syllable crashes and reflects,bouncing off stalagmites & 'tites build upas rocky bars containing the embodied message of the wined.Spiraling Inward each piked rock joins the cacophonous tone,taking humble beginningsto monumental ends.
