Who’s that hairy dancing man? Well, it’s me. The funny thing is that I don’t even play a single lick in this entire song. All I do is dance.

Moments to note:
- See me look at the music? Nope I don’t have the chart. Where did it go? Oh well, I’ll dance some more.
- I am completely out of shape. I can’t even dance for a whole song without wiping away the sweat.

Came across Last.fm because one morning I had a great Idea. “How ’bout a community website, where people can upload music and share them?” I thought to myself.
Shortly after looking around I raised my fist in the air “Damn you!” Not only has this been done, it’s been done very well. So well in fact, that not shortly after, I made the biggest compliment. I gave money; not because someone called me begging, but because I felt it was a worthy cause.

Sometimes there are instances were something else kicks in. You can’t explain it, or describe it. I was fortunate to have one while playing recently. We were playing our normal set and then everyone stopped and it was just me and my horn. Fortunately Blue had the record button on. And as he later described it. “What was intended to be a little blues jam turned into a 13-minute musical manifesto I’m calling ‘From the Belly.‘”
Check out the rest of our songs from The Ridge Coffee Co, or matter of fact, any other.

About a year after he envisioned being on stage, Blue’s dream came true. As he mentioned in his post, Stomp it off!, we got some great feedback from Darren of Jungle Swing. “I’ve never had such overwhelming positive feedback at a band night. Thanks, Blue, for putting on a great show. And thanks to everyone who attended the dance. Blue Morris will be back. Dates to come!” Woohoo!
Here are some tracks Blue was able to post:
Carly Jepsen - vocals, Blue Morris - guitar & harmonica, Greg Lui - tenor sax, Nick Kempinski - baritone sax, Lou Wang - piano & organ, Alex Kelley - bass, Alex Klassen - drums

Last night was another performance by the illustrious Blue Morris 6 (+1). I’m sure Blue will be posting the outcome shortly, in which case you can then take a listen for yourself.
One thing that made this night different from others was the feedback from the audience. We’ve played other shows and when it’s done, I’m walking out the door and people are watching me leave with my huge case, but not saying anything. For this gig a bunch of people came up to us and said “nice show” or “I was really entertained, thank you”. To those out there who did, I say thank you. It really does make a difference.

Had the pleasure of playing for a private blues dance tonight. ( I’m sure music will be coming soon ) OMFG! You wanna see some hot moves…man these cats ( and I mean the truest sense of the term ) they were in dancing heat. I kind of felt intrusive to watch a couple dancing, the way they were moving it was more then dancing. It was like sex with cloths on. If anyone says, “hey, you wanna go to a blues dance?” The answer is always yes.
